How it is paid for

Free today, and straight about it.

Running a site costs money, and how that money is made is what quietly bends the numbers on other money websites. Here is where we stand, and what we will tell you if it changes.

No selling your data

Your household's figures are not a product. They are visible to your household and to nobody else, and we do not sell or share them.

No third-party ad-tech

No ad networks, no advertising trackers, nothing following you around the web after you leave. Our analytics is cookieless and runs on our own servers.

Anything paid is labelled

The site is free to use today. If a link ever earns us a commission, or a feature ever costs money, it will say so on the page you are reading.

Straight answers

The two questions people ask.

Will it stay free?

Everything above is free today, and we are not going to pretend to know what the site looks like in five years. We may add paid features later.

If we do, we will say so clearly and well in advance, and anything you have already built stays yours to open, use and export.

Why is there no trial?

A financial plan is only useful once it holds your real numbers, and that takes more than a fortnight to prove out. A trial clock would push you to rush it.

So there is no clock. Use it for as long as you like, and come back to it when the numbers change.

Quidworth is a projection tool, not a financial adviser. See understanding your projections for what the numbers are and are not, or send us a question if something here is not clear.

Nothing to buy. Something to build.

The calculators answer one question at a time. The plan holds all of them at once - your mortgage, your pensions and your savings, moving together for the next twenty years.
